The tenancy is a long-term tenancy for an indefinite period. The tenancy continues until terminated by either party. The notice period for this tenancy is three months for both parties. The period runs from the first day of the month following receipt of the notice.

The tenancy has a lock-in period of 9 months from the date of handover, with 3 months' notice thereafter (minimum 12 months).

In the longer term, the landlord is considering either using the property themselves or selling it. This is valid grounds for termination after the lock-in period has ended.
